About me:
Diego Prestes a.k.a “El niño” is a graphic designer
and illustrator who writes about himself in third person.

He studied Graphic Design at ORT University of Montevideo and illustration
at the School of Visual Arts of New York (SVA summer residency, 2012).

He worked in small graphic design studios and big advertising agencies for some years.
Not very happy with the structures and the way advertising business worked,
he co-founded in 2010 the Atolón de Mororoa graphic design studio with four friends/partners,
looking for experimentation, lack of rules and a place to play. He is very happy now :)

During 2019 and 2020 he worked on Natasha Jen´s team at Pentagram New York for clients like Google, Waze, Rise for Animals, Center For Contemporary Sciences, Eat Offbeat among others.

Teaches Identity and Illustration at local design schools.
Co-founder of the Montevideo Drawing Club.
Member of the garage band Los Nuevos Creyentes
To build his house on the beach, he illustrates and delivers
the @libroparacolorearparaadultos on his father´s black bike. (79% complete)
